Lot Description  

A silver tone Uruguayan Football Association medal presented to Uruguay national football team player Jose Nassazi for his participation in the 1930 FIFA World Cup, the first World Cup.

Uruguay defeated Argentina 4-2 in the final match.

The medal features the Uruguayan Football Association emblem on one side and the text ". J. Nassazi / Campeon Mundial [Champion]/ 1930" on the other side.

Provenance: 1930 World Cup Museum!
