Stunning Masterpiece! Vintage Uruguay National Team GOLD MEDAL 1928 Olympics Amsterdam TYPE 1 Team Photo features Jose Nasazzi, Jose Andrade & Scarone AND FULL SQUAD!

Provenance: Domingo Lombardi Referee Collection!

 The Uruguayan team that won the gold medal at the 1928 Amsterdam Olympic Games was made up of outstanding players such as José Nasazzi, Héctor Scarone, Pedro Cea, Pedro Petrone, Santos Urdinarán, José Andrade, and Héctor Castro. The team, led by Alberto Suppici, also included players such as Álvaro Gestido, Domingo Tejera, Juan Píriz, Pedro Arispe, Adhemar Canavesi, and Andrés Mazali.
