Story:
40 years ago, on September 7, 1979 at the Olympic Stadium in Tokyo, Japan, the youth team led by Diego Armando Maradona ("Golden Ball" for best player) beat the Soviet Union 3-1 in the final and It achieved for Argentina, indisputably, the first World Cup in the Under 20 category. Group early mornings to follow the games on TV were commonplace in a country suffocated by the military boots that governed the government. With Ramón Díaz from Rioja ("Golden Boot" for being, with 7 goals, the top scorer of the competition and who was already unstitched in River), that team, which dazzled with its showy play and imposed absolute superiority against tough rivals, was directed by César Luis Menotti, who had also just obtained his first star with the Major, along with the invaluable collaboration of Ernesto Duchini, who died in 2006 and is one of the great forgotten men of Argentine football.
