Miguel Ángel Bordón ( Santa Fe , Province of Santa Fe , Argentina , October 27, 1952 – Dolores (Buenos Aires) , June 16, 2003) was a footballer who played as a defender .
He was champion of the 1978 Copa Libertadores and the 1977 Intercontinental Cup with the Boca Juniors shirt . He died prematurely due to cardiac arrest that occurred during a charity match for former Argentine soccer players. 
Bordón's career took place almost exclusively in Argentina, except for brief experiences in Mexico at Atlas , and in Colombia at Atlético Nacional.
He made his debut at San Lorenzo de Almagro , with whom he played 3 games. He then moved to Club Atlético Nueva Chicago : in three seasons he played 94 games, scoring 20 goals. In 1977 he moved to Chacarita Juniors : with the Los Funebreros shirt he played 128 games (his record for appearances with the same shirt) and scored 28 goals.
After a brief experience (6 games) at Talleres de Córdoba , in 1978 he signed with Boca Juniors , reaching the highest point of his career. With the Xeneizes he played 82 championship matches, and won the 1977 Intercontinental Cup and the 1978 Copa Libertadores ; In the Libertadores semifinals against Atlético Mineiro he scored both goals for the final 2-0.
In 1981 he moved to Argentinos Juniors along with Salinas , Santos , Zanabria and Randazzo, in exchange for the transfer of Diego Armando Maradona . In the same year he moved to Atlas de Guadalajara in Mexico , and the following year he moved to Atlético Nacional in Medellín , Colombia .
He returned to Argentina and in 1985 played for Huracán Las Heras , later moving to Temperley. He closes the race wearing the jerseys of Colón , San Telmo, Deportivo Urdinarrain and Deportivo Maipú.
