Lisandro López ( Rafael Obligado , March 2, 1983) is an Argentine footballer who plays as a striker for Sarmiento de Junín of the Argentine Professional League . He is considered one of the great idols of Racing Club .
He began his career at Racing Club and became the team's top scorer at his young age. He was the top scorer in Argentina's 2004 Apertura Tournament .
He transferred to Porto in Portugal in 2005, where he won his first titles. He and his team won a total of 4 consecutive championships and 3 national cups.

His remarkable performances catapulted him to French club Olympique Lyon in 2009, where he is remembered for having been part of the team that won the 2011–12 Coupe de France and the 2012 Super Cup.

Between 2013 and 2015 he played for Al-Gharafa Sports Club in Qatar and Sport Club Internacional in Brazil.

In 2016 he returned to Racing Club to take on the role of point of reference and, later, captain. There he managed to become champion of the 2018-19 Super League , being the top scorer of the competition, and the 2019 Champions Trophy .

In 2021 he had a short stay in the United States and played for the Atlanta United Football Club . He returned to play with Racing after 6 months, but decided to leave due to personal problems. He is currently a player for Sarmiento de Junín.
