The 1978 FIFA World Cup took place between June 1 and 25 in Argentina, with the host nation beating the Netherlands 3-1 in extra time. The medal features a relief of the FIFA World Cup trophy on one side and the text “XI Copa Mundial de la FIFA Argentina 1978” on the other. The medal is housed in its original box.


Medal: Diameter, 1 3/8 inches, Made by Bertoni Milano in Italy.
