Note:In the friendly match at the Coloso, the most important result wasn't the football aspect, but the solidarity aspect. Some 30,000 people attended the benefit match this Sunday for the Zanetti and Maxi Rodríguez foundations at Newell's Stadium.

Lionel Messi, who ended up attending the event, scored two goals and received a standing ovation. The match between "Los Amigos de Pupi" and "Los Amigos de Maxi" ended 8-6, in favor of La Fiera Rodríguez's team.

The meeting was organized to raise funds for the Pupi Foundation and the Madres Solteras Primerizas home, run by Raquel Butazzoni, with whom Maxi Rodríguez collaborates.

Attendees who came to the Colossus—mostly families—experienced a celebration filled with international football figures and welcomed La Pulga to the Marcelo Bielsa stadium.

In addition to renowned soccer players, athletes and actors were also present.

Pupi's friends were Goycochea; Javier Zanetti, Trotta, Tissone, Moner; Vella, Demichelis, Jonás Gutiérrez; Lavezzi, Messi, and Santiago Solari. Coach: Sensini.

Maxi's team consisted of: Peratta; Scaloni, Ponzio, Schiavi, Emiliano Insúa; Banega, Bernardi, Manso; Quintana, Pablo Granados, Maxi Rodríguez. Coach: Ricardo Giusti.

Javier Adelmar Zanetti (born 10 August 1973) is an Argentine former professional footballer. Regarded as one of the best right-backs of all time, Zanetti is well known for having dedicated almost his entire career at Inter Milan, having a key role in the historic treble-winning 2009–10 season. Zanetti was known for his versatility as well as his adeptness on both the left and right wing, having played mostly as a full-back or wing-back on both flanks, but also spending considerable time as a midfielder. He is currently the vice-president of Inter Milan.

With the Argentina national team, Zanetti played in 145 games, a figure that makes him the player with the joint-third most appearances in the history of La Albiceleste, having formerly held the record from 2007 to 2018. With Argentina he reached the final of the Copa América in 2004 and 2007, and the FIFA Confederations Cup in 1995 and 2005.
