Enrique Omar Sivori was named the best player of the World in 1961 (Ballon D'or)

He played as an attacking midfielder and is considered one of the best Argentine footballers in history. He is included in Pelé's FIFA 100 list . He is ranked sixteenth in the IFFHS 2004 ranking of the Best South American Player of the Century and is also included in another list of the organization, the Best Players of the 20th Century , compiled by FIFA experts and historians .
