José Malleo (born in Rosario on January 29, 1944) is an Argentine former footballer . He played as a forward and made his professional debut in Rosario Central. He was a former Argentina National Team player who played Olympics 1964 at Tokyo.

Malleo trained in the youth divisions of Rosario Central, reaching the first division in 1963. His debut occurred on March 24 against Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata , in a match valid for the first date of the First Division Championship . On the following day he scored his first goal in a match against Independiente . The following year he managed to have more continuity, scoring two goals in the Rosario classic played on April 26, 1964, which ended with a 4-0 central victory. 1 He At the end of that year he left the institution, having accumulated 16 games played and 5 goals scored. 2 He continued his career in Argentinos Juniors , where in four seasons (1965-1968) he accumulated 53 appearances and 11 goals. In 1970 and 1971 he played 33 games with Kimberley de Mar del Plata , scoring 8 goals.
