Luis Enrique Martínez García ( Gijón , 8 May 1970) is a Spanish former footballer and manager . As a footballer he played as a midfielder or forward and won 62 caps for the Spain national team . 

As a coach he currently manages Paris Saint -Germain FC of the French Ligue 1 ans recently won UEFA Champions league 2025!

He developed his professional career at Sporting de Gijón , Real Madrid CF —with which he won a Spanish League , a Copa del Rey and a Spanish Super Cup— and FC Barcelona —where he won two Leagues, two Cups, a Spanish Super Cup, a Cup Winners' Cup and a European Super Cup . In addition, he was an international with the Spanish national team , with which he won a gold medal at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games  and played in three World Cups and a European Championship . He was also included in the FIFA 100 , a historical list of the best footballers of the  20th century compiled in 2004 by Pelé.
